Spectre is a movie based on the storyline of Ian Fleming's James Bond novel, "the spy who loved me". Daniel Craig reprises his role as 007 here. The film was released on November 6, 2015. The film was dedicated to Spectre production designer Dennis Gassner who died during filming after completing his final work for the franchise with Skyfall. Spectre has received generally positive reviews from critics. It has a rating of 77% on Rotten Tomatoes based on 270 reviews with an average rating of 6.7/10, with the site's consensus saying, "Spectre boasts the same high-octane energy and visual flair as its predecessors -- and also a few welcome additions to the storied franchise -- even if it doesn't quite match up to classics like Skyfall." It also has a score of 69 out of 100 on Metacritic based on 43 critics, indicating "generally favorable reviews". IGN awarded it 8.5/10, saying that it is great but not perfect. Cinesploitation.com gave it a B. TheWrap gave it a score of B+. The film was nominated for Best Action Movie at the Critics' Choice Awards 2016 and Best Movie at the MTV Movie Awards 2016. "Spectre" was released on digital HD on February 2, 2016 and on DVD and Blu-ray on February 9, 2016 in the United Kingdom, and it was released on Blu-ray, Ultra HD Blu-ray, DVD, Digital HD & 4K Ultra HD on February 16 in the United States. The release date is February 23 in Italy. All editions of the films are identical, containing no special features or bonus materials. "Spectre" earned $81.6 million in DVD and Blu-ray sales and rentals in the United States and Canada over its first weekend, which was a record for a Bond film and one of the biggest 007 openings ever. The home release made an estimated $139 million worldwide from sales and rentals, pushing its total worldwide gross to over $600 million.
